It had been 12 years since moe. graced the Mangy Moose stage and I know people were expecting a throwdown. Solid show, but I agree they saved the real special rarities for the Aggie show. Tons of crowd energy, but an unspectacular song selection is somewhat limiting.

Second set is solid, especially the segue back into Timmy and the Road sandwich. Wicked Awesome was a nice encore treat.

Subject: Had the potential of Epic...
but alas something wasn't in the cards and the mangy moose got kind of punk'd. I guess they knew the secret show at the Aggie was around the corner so they decided to save their nut for CO. If that was the reason... pretty lame as for the next time moe will play a show that small in WY no less ?

Short first set, I guess the TT > Bearsong is worth mentioning. Second set had some factor with the Road/Time Ed sandwich but that's all worth mentioning. Second set was rather short on length as well. I have seen plenty of shows at the moose that went right up to 2 am. moe. came on at 10:30 and left at just after 1 am. Wtf come all the way up to North WY for an intimate club show on your last tour for awhile and and turn in a sub par shorter than usual performance? I don't get it. Certainly wasn't the fault of the crowd we were charged, throwing all we had at that stage.

I had a blast with my friends just the same at the time but unfortunately this show won't stand the test of time.

Thanks for taping and upping the show Brad definitely appreciated.

Subject: Not Bad
Wasn't the greatest moe. show but a lot better than some of the recent one's. The Road sandwich is delicious, though. Worth it, if only for that.

Notes

No Jim Loughlin tonight
PACKED room=challenging taping scenario. Occasional glitches are from mics bumped, mic stamd bumped into adjacent column, etc.
Al equipment problems on transition from Bullet>Timmy
Thanks to Angelo for the mic loan!
